You Can't Just Have the Baby You Found in the Park

Zacky stares at Jimmy for a second, disbelieving, before he takes a deep breath and says, "What do you mean you found him?"

Jimmy grins widely and snuggles the small bundle of blankets in his arms closer to his body. "I found him in the park with a wad of one dollar bills tucked into his blankets. He's mine now."

Zacky sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose. "Jimmy, you can't just have the baby you found in the park."

Jimmy's smile instantly moulds into a frown. "Yes I can. Clearly his parents weren't able to take care of him, but I can." He looks down at the baby and his face lights up again. "Isn't that right, Fox? You're my baby boy and I'm gonna take such good care of you," he coos.

Zacky bites his lip. If he's being honest with himself, there's a part of him that's always wanted a kid with Jimmy, but he'd pushed it out of his mind as an impossibility. And he can definitely see Jimmy being an awesome dad. "Okay," he starts slowly, causing Jimmy to cast hopeful eyes up at him. "We need to call someone about this and make it official. And maybe we should consider another name besides Fox, babe, that's weird."

"We?" Jimmy repeats, smile growing even wider, if possible.

Zacky rolls his eyes. "You didn't think I was going to leave that poor child with you as his only parent; what kind of person do you think I am?" But he smiles softly at Jimmy, and Jimmy knows that Zacky wants this as much as he does.

Jimmy plops down next to Zacky on the couch and nuzzles his head into his neck. "Rethink Fox?" He questions. "I can't just change his name, that's part of who he is. That would be like calling me Zacky and you Jimmy, it's just not right. Honestly, Zee…"
